- Despite the advancements in IoT technology, its potential in utility monitoring is not fully realized. Existing solutions do not leverage IoT to its full extent.

Solution:
- Technology Deployment: Install a small, sophisticated device from Advannotech that retrofits onto existing utility (Water and Electricity) infrastructure in the property.
- Real-Time Monitoring: The device acts as the single point of monitoring and data collection, providing per-second utility consumption data reporting. This will enable real-time monitoring and prompt detection of issues.
- Data Transmission: Transmit all consumption data collected from the property using universal APN SIMS. This SIM will switch between providers to ensure 100% accessibility throughout South Africa.
- Live Feed: The SIM connection is agnostic to service providers and will switch to the most available network, allowing for 100% uptime and a live feed. This will ensure continuous monitoring and real-time data availability.
- Data Processing: Process the data transmitted into the VANTAGE IoT platform This will convert the data into viewable & readable information on any device (PC, Tablet, or Phone), facilitating easy access and decision-making.
