Project & Delivery Manager

Advannotech is on a mission to deliver top-notch IoT solutions and cutting-edge technology to our clients. We need a driven and detail-oriented Project Manager who doesn’t just track progress — they make progress happen. If you’re the type to unblock problems in real-time, drive delivery momentum, and rally teams when the pressure’s on, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple IoT and tech projects from kickoff through go-live, ensuring delivery is on time, on budget, and at spec
  • Build and maintain actionable delivery plans that go beyond just Gantt charts — align resources, timelines, and supplier dependencies
  • Proactively drive execution: remove blockers, follow through, and make critical decisions on the ground
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including technical, deployment, procurement, field, and support staff to meet delivery milestones
  • Manage and hold installation and delivery teams accountable, including overseeing on-site installations and logistics when required
  • Ensure the timely delivery of stock from suppliers, managing and planning for lead times and dealing with any logistics issues that might arise
  • Serve as the go-to delivery point for clients, translating evolving needs into real-time action plans and course corrections
  • Monitor project delivery through tangible KPIs and take corrective actions — not just raise flags
  • Maintain clear, useful project documentation that supports decision-making, audit, and progress tracking
  • Actively improve delivery and project management practices that support agile, practical execution
  • Report progress, risks, and delays to Management with proposed next steps — not just status updates

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Exceptional organisational and follow-through skills — you drive delivery, not just coordinate meetings
  • Proven ability to manage dynamic, cross-functional tech projects and adapt in real-time
  • Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Hybrid), with a focus on outcomes not process for process’s sake
  • Confident dealing with suppliers, clients, and teams — including challenging stakeholders when needed
  • Comfortable operating in a hands-on environment, with an eye for both high-level coordination and ground-level problem solving
  • Skilled in project and support tools like Microsoft Project, Trello and Excel
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills — you can align teams and manage expectations on the fly

Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project or delivery management, ideally in the tech, IoT, or telecoms sectors
  • Proven record of successfully delivering end-to-end projects in the tech industry is a hard requirement
  • Experience working with corporate, public sector, or enterprise clients, including field delivery or installations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Software Development, Engineering, Business, or a relevant field
  • Certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile are a plus — but real delivery experience counts more

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel Partnership Development: Design, implement, and manage a successful channel partnership program from the ground up. Recruit, onboard, and enable strategic partners to effectively sell and service Advannotech’ s solutions, driving indirect revenue and extending market reach.
  • Marketing and Brand Management: Oversee all marketing activities, including lead generation, digital marketing, content creation, public relations, and event management, to enhance brand visibility and generate qualified leads for all sales channels.
  • Client & Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and channel partners, understanding their needs and ensuring a high level of satisfaction and performance.
  • Team Management and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize market intelligence, customer feedback, and data analytics to inform sales and marketing strategies and identify emerging trends.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare regular reports on sales and marketing performance, including direct and channel sales metrics, providing accurate forecasts and actionable insights to the Chief Executive Officer.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in a senior sales and marketing role, preferably within the technology, IoT, or integrated solutions industry.
  • Demonstrable success in developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans that have resulted in significant business growth.
  • Proven experience in introducing, building, and managing a successful channel partnership model is essential.
  • Proven experience in selling complex technology solutions to both public and private sector clients.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing, lead generation, and CRM best practices.
  • A strong understanding of the South African technology market and landscape.

Security Systems Technician

Why Advannotech Needs You

Advannotech is on a mission to secure infrastructure and enable smarter environments through reliable, high-quality security technology. 

We’re looking for a hands-on Security systems Technician who’s skilled in CCTV, access control, electric fencing, and gate automation  and who doesn’t shy away from travel or troubleshooting in the field. If you’re someone who can deliver installations that just work, solve issues on the ground, and maintain system integrity across multiple sites, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and commission IP and analog CCTV systems (e.g. Hikvision, Dahua, TVT, Uniview)
  • Set up and maintain access control systems (e.g. ZKTeco, Hikvision, Impro, Paxton)
  • Configure and maintain electric fences, energizers, and zoning systems (e.g. Nemtek)
  • Install, maintain and repair gate motors and access automation (e.g. Centurion, ET Nice)
  • Perform technical fault finding, diagnostics, and component-level repairs
  • Conduct routine maintenance, compliance checks, and provide clear service documentation
  • Integrate systems with back-end platforms and network infrastructure
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, and site teams to meet quality and timeline expectations
  • Work at heights and in outdoor environments as required by site conditions
  • Travel nationally to support projects across all provinces — often on short notice

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong technical installation and troubleshooting ability
  • Confident working independently in field environments and remote locations
  • Comfortable with networking basics (IP config, PoE switches, remote access)
  • Organized with the ability to complete reports, checklists, and compliance documentation
  • Reliable and professional in front of clients, with good communication skills
  • Works well under pressure and can handle multiple concurrent priorities
  • Basic networking knowledge including IP addressing, PoE switches, and remote system access

Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working on:
    • IP CCTV systems
    • Access control systems
    • Electric fencing
    • Gate motors
    • Boom gates
  • Relevant trade qualification or certification in electrical/security systems
  • Valid Code 8/B Driver’s License (must be willing to travel extensively)
  • PSIRA registration (advantageous but not required)
  • Experience working on commercial, retail, or public sector sites preferred
